Ravi Bhakta Shrestha

Chairman

Mr. Ravi Bhakta Shrestha is a prominent figure in Nepal's business community, currently leading IJ Group, a diverse conglomerate with interests in hospitality, banking, insurance, consumer goods, real estate, and healthcare. Under his leadership, IJ Group has expanded its portfolio to include investments in Soaltee Hotel Ltd, Soaltee West End, Summit Hotel, and the Vivanta Hotel. He also serves as the Promoter Director of Unilever Nepal Ltd. and is a former President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). Graduate in Business Administration, Mr. Shrestha has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Prasidhha Prabal Gorkha Dakchhin Bahu 'Second' and Knight Officer of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy. His strategic vision and business acumen continue to drive the group's growth, maintaining the legacy of his father, Late Indra Bhakta Shrestha, a pioneer in Nepal's trade and manufacturing sectors. Additionally, he is involved in charitable activities through the I.J. Charitable Trust, focusing on health and education sectors.

Sudarshan Chapagain

Director

Mr. Sudarshan Chapagain, currently Vice President at Soaltee Hotel Limited, is a highly regarded finance professional based in Kathmandu, Nepal, with over 15 years of experience in accountancy, finance, and hospitality management. He holds a Chartered Accountancy qualification from ICAN, Kathmandu, a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA, London, an LLB, and a Masters in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University. At Soaltee, he has led strategic growth, integrating four new hotels. Previously, as Area Director of Finance at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, he managed financial operations across diverse regions, earning numerous accolades. Additionally, he provides consultancy through his firm, S. Chapagain & Associates, and holds board positions in several prominent companies, including Soaltee Sibkrim Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd., Soaltee Hospitality Limited, and Malpi International College Pvt. Ltd. His extensive involvement underscores his expertise in hotel operations and strategic leadership. Moreover, he is an Executive Member of various organizations, including the Hotel Association of Nepal and the International Chamber of Commerce.

Sabin Joshi

Director

Mr. Joshi is a graduate of Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and has more than 18 years of experience in Banking, Portfolio Management, Private Equity and M&A managing many sectors such as Education, Hospitality, Banking etc. Mr. Joshi is a recipient of Mahendra Vidhya Bhushan, an award then given for excellence performance in academics. Having started his career with Standard Chartered Bank in 2004, he currently is the Managing Director at RB Advisory and Ednopsis Holdings. He has worked as Assistant Vice President at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited and Senior General Manager at the CG CORP Global handling Asset Management, Investment and Merger & Acquisition. He also worked as CEO for the education and Asset Management Head for the hospitality vertical of the CG group which had over 17 School/Colleges and over 80+ hotels all around the world. He has been director in many companies such as Nabil Investment Bank, India Safari Limited, Taj Safari Limited, Taj Maldives Pvt Limited, Taj Srilanka Pvt Ltd, Lumbini Bank limited, Malvern Education PLC London etc. Mr. Joshi is currently the Managing Director at RB Advisory Pvt Ltd.
