Pokhara University
Established under the Pokhara University Act, 1997, it was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister, who acts as the Chancellor, and the Honorable Minister for Education, who serves as the Pro-Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor, appointed by the Chancellor, is the chief executive officer of the university, supported by the Registrar, who handles financial and administrative tasks. PU operates as a non-profit, autonomous institution, receiving funding from both the Government of Nepal and revenue generated through student fees and affiliated colleges.
